Larry will be speaking next week at Google’s Washington D.C. offices as part of the “Future Tense” series of conferences.  “Future Tense” is a joint venture of the New America Foundation, Slate.com, and Arizona State University.

The program, taking place Feb. 3 and 4th, is titled “Here be Dragons:  Governing a Technologically Uncertain Future.”    The event explores how “a democratic society both nurture and regulate — and find the right balance between those two imperatives — fast-evolving technologies poised to radically alter life.”
